Multi-Axis Laser Cutting
Multi-axis laser cutting technology allows laser cutting of formed parts, stamped components and metal spinnings, along with laser welding on unique part designs. With multiple laser cutting systems up to 5-axis capabilities, Iowa Laser Technology can provide the engineering flexibility to design to your customer needs and meet production requirements.
Multi-axis laser cutting can support mid-stream or final step processing on many applications. For formed blanks with hole requirements within the bend radius, multi-axis laser cutting can replace more costly machining set-up and processing with “should cost” savings. Or for 3/8” thick carbon steel metal spinnings, Iowa Laser's 5-axis laser cutting equipment typically replaces hand-held plasma burning or more costly machining setups with repeatable tolerance on edge or hole cuts.
