Peddinghaus Plate Processing

The Peddinghaus Plate Processing System programs punching, drilling, marking, oxy-fuel cutting, and plasma cutting processes in one efficient, cost-effective machine. The patented roller feed drive and measuring system, continuous material flow, and consolidated capabilities, allows one person to do the work of a programmer, operator, and laborer with minimal intervention, permitting virtually continuous and seamless processing. The Peddinghaus Plate Processor is a multi functional, automated work center, proven to reduce manual labor associated with plate processing by as much as 80 percent, and allows O'Neal Manufacturing Services to deliver more precision parts in less time.

The Peddinghaus' oxy-fuel and plasma-cutting capabilities create any contour desired, while maximizing actual "arc time" for greater productivity. The 100-ton hydraulic punch can create up to three hole diameters; round, square, shaped, or slotted, in a single process, within a single part. Any of three programmable carbide drill spindles can be selected for 1,800-rpm hole making, with no downtime for tool changes. Whichever operation is being utilized, finished parts drop from the table into a container; and the next length of plate is already loaded on a conveyor, ready for processing.
