Birmingham, AL. (April 16, 2018) – O’Neal Manufacturing Services (OMS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Moon as General Manager of OMS facility in Greensboro, NC, effective immediately.
Moon started his career with O’Neal Steel in 2012 as the Senior Human Resource Business Partner and was promoted to OMS Human Resources (HR) Manager in January 2016 then was moved to OMS HR Director in July that same year.
He took on the role and responsibilities of Iowa Laser Technology’s (ILT) Interim General Manager in January 2017 and was named General Manager in March 2017. Under Matt’s leadership, ILT and Trumpf together brought the first Trumpf Fiber 10K laser to the U.S. and also a new Trumpf 8K laser to ILT.

Moon is a native of Alabama and received his B.A. from The University of Alabama in Commercial Marketing. He and his wife ,Jamie, have two girls: Della (9) and Harper (4)
