O’Neal Manufacturing Services (OMS) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania brought back their traditional employee picnic on August 10th!
Valerie Young, OMS Pittsburgh’s Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), organized a committee of 6 members to plan the picnic this year. She stated, “It’s a good way to engage employees and have everyone get to know each other outside of work with their families.” The committee asked their vendors for prize donations and raffled them off during the picnic as well as other fun gift items that were purchased.
The event was held at a local park in Monaca, PA which is a short drive from the OMS facility. Around 72 employees and their families were in attendance.
Managers from 
the plant cooked all the food for everyone and their families! Everyone who attended the picnic received a gift bag (ages 12 and up) that included: An OMS water bottle, OMS koozie, and an OMS frisbee. Kids ages 11 and under all received a gift bag as well which had sidewalk chalk, OMS frisbee, OMS water bottle and bubbles in it.
During the picnic there were tons of fun activities and treats like a popcorn machine, balloon artist, and Hawaiian shaved ice. People brought basketballs as well as corn hole and horseshoes to play.

- Egg/Spoon game
- Bubbes
